Living Room Redesign
(Warm Transitional / Modern Organic)
"My living room just feels… flat. Nothing is wrong with it, but nothing feels intentional either. I want it to feel cozy but still clean and modern. Right now it just looks like we placed furniture wherever it fit. I also feel like everything is the same color—beige on beige—and I want more personality without it feeling too busy."

This project was both enjoyable and creatively challenging. The existing built-in entertainment center established a fixed focal point, while two walls of sliding glass doors and windows limited traditional furniture placement, leading to a floating sectional layout that preserved light and flow. Integrating a work-from-home desk required thoughtful placement in the corner so it remained functional without disrupting the main living area, and using area rugs in both the seating and desk zones helped visually connect the spaces. Once the layout was resolved, the final layers of decor, plants, and styling came together naturally, resulting in a balanced, cohesive, and inviting living room.
Client Reaction
“We’re really happy with how this turned out. The room feels warm, balanced, and thoughtfully designed, and it finally feels like it reflects how we actually live in the space. The layout works beautifully, the colors feel cohesive, and everything feels intentional without being overdone. We’re excited to move forward and bring this design to life.”
