Living/Dining Room Redesign

(Warm Timeless)

We recently moved into a larger home, but our living and dining space feels disconnected and difficult to arrange. While the room has beautiful architecture and high-end furnishings, the layout lacks flow and cohesion, leaving the space feeling unfinished and awkward.

We’re looking for a redesign that creates a warm, elegant, and functional environment with better flow for both everyday living and entertaining.

This project was an exciting creative challenge focused on balancing flow, function, and visual cohesion within a large open-concept living and dining space. The primary goal was to ensure each area felt connected without becoming cluttered or visually disconnected, requiring careful attention to furniture placement and circulation throughout the room.

A key feature of the redesign was transforming the fireplace into a true statement piece, creating a warm and inviting reading nook that became one of the highlights of the home. The living area was thoughtfully balanced with the fireplace wall, while the dining space was positioned to complement the staircase and French doors. Once the final décor, lighting, and artwork were added, the entire design came together beautifully, giving the home a warm, elegant, and fully realized feel.

Client Reaction

we finally feel like our home reflects the warmth and elegance we envisioned from the beginning. The new layout created a natural flow between the living and dining spaces, while the layered lighting, furnishings, and focal fireplace wall brought the entire room to life. What once felt oversized and disconnected now feels cohesive, inviting, and thoughtfully designed for both everyday living and entertaining.
